INEC Office Burnt Down In Abia State.

Unknown persons have burnt down the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

According to eye- witnesses, the incident, which occured at about 1pm yesterday,razed the entire building,including the store and Electoral Officer's Office.
A resident in the staff quarters at the at Mgboko,who declined to have his name on print,told Vanguard, they saw thick smoke emanating out from the INEC office & raised alarm,which attracted passers-by. He also said that the fire would have burnt all the buildings, but for the timely intervention of the council workers who quenched it. See some Photos
